A vision come true
It is just over 10 years since Designer/Inventor, Rod Gibson, first had his vision of the holiday home for his family. As he developed his dream, he remembered the family values of yesteryear that he had experienced in the clean, green paradise that is our New Zealand. From that day Rod’s idea has grown into full conceptual drawings and plans and finally into a building that encapsulates the essence of living the HABODE experience.
HABODE is the vision made reality: derived from Habitat; ‘the place where a person is most likely to be found,’ and: Abode; ‘a dwelling place; a home.’
Rod believes that;
“Design shapes our lives. Whether man-made, or from nature, design influences many of our decisions. From the products we buy; to the services we use; to the impressions we have. Design affects us all; our emotions, our ethos, our actions; our vision.”
